About the Role:
We are seeking a diligent Payroll Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing various payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Utilizing the UKG platform, you will maintain our HR payroll system and collaborate with auditors for payroll-related reporting.
Responsibilities:
Process all aspects of compensation, including salaries, bonuses, and garnishments
Ensure timely and accurate processing of weekly payrolls, including administration of hourly payroll deductions and reporting
Reconcile premium payments for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans using the UKG system
Assist in preparing and processing invoices and check requests
Maintain accurate time and attendance records, including vacation and sick time reports
Coordinate and compile EEO, AAP & Veterans 100 annual filings
Support in processing and distributing service recognition awards
Maintain HR/Payroll information system records and generate reports as needed
Provide backup support for online benefits enrollment system
Stay informed about current company benefits offerings
Requirements:
High School diploma required; college certificate in HR-related field preferred
3-5 years of payroll administration experience, with preference for UKG proficiency
Strong understanding of payroll laws and general HR policies/practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to maintain confidentiality and establish effective working relationships
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Comfortable with extended periods of computer work and office setting
Excellent communication skills and ability to translate information into action
