Essential Functions
Demonstrates advanced competencies of an Incoming CMM Programmer 1 & 2
Perform all related activities applied to First Article Inspections
Demonstrate leadership in the Incoming Inspection area and ability to prioritize, assign, and motivate team for desired results
Proficient in the application and communication of GD+T
Communicates clearly with Engineering to achieve desired inspection results
Be a strategic thinker, who considers the value proposition in all work performed
Demonstrates a selfless attitude and put others needs above their own allowing the team to work in a highly effective manner
Ability to package CMM inspection data in a concise and clear manner to communicate to end user
Design and or configure inspection fixture with specific inspection requirements in mind
Able to set-up, program and operate CMM for advanced inspections
Perform duties and responsibilities of Incoming CMM Programmer 2
Mentor inspectors on Garmin documentation requirements and inspection techniques as well as any new or revised procedures and methods
Independently coordinate daily work for the team to align priorities and resources to ensure timely and accurate results
Ensure inspection plans and inspection methods are strategically aligned with team goals

Basic Qualifications
Possess qualifications of CMM Programmer 2
Associate Degree in Electronics, Machining Technology, Quality or related field and 3 years' experience operating and program a CMM, OR a Certificate in Electronics, Machining Technology, Quality and minimum 4 year of experience operating and programming a CMM, OR High School Diploma and advanced level CMM training with at least 5 years of operating and programming a CMM
Work experience should include but not be limited to all bench top inspection methods and use of CMM, Optical Comparator, and Vision Camera
Able to provide mentorship and guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 programmers
Able to communicate high level inspection plans, findings, and issues to manufacturing and engineering
Possess knowledge of and stays up to date on new inspection programs and software
