The Opportunity

"To enable continued growth and market adoption, we are searching for a highly qualified Business Operations - VP to work closely with our Scores Leadership team. As Business Operations VP you will be a strategic contributor and operational doer who will focus on advancing the most critical organizational priorities. Reporting to the VPGM, B2B Scores, you will act as a cooperative partner across all functional departments in the Scores business focused on increasing productivity, planning, and executing strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and aligning and communicating objectives between departments. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business management, with a special focus on executive level advising and interdepartmental collaboration." - Vice President & General Manager, B2B Scores.

What You'll Contribute
  • You will be a collaborator with the VPGM Scores as well as acting as a delegate on occasion. Your job will entail a wide variety of tasks across our global business, and your success will be judged on your ability to boost leverage and velocity from the VPGM B2B Scores and the larger Scores Leadership team.
  • Define and oversee key projects across the organization, especially those projects or process improvements that streamline and improve cross-functional business execution.
  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from planning through successful execution in collaboration with senior functional leaders.
  • Assist and advise executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation strategies.
  • Identify, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure, find knowledge and skills gaps and build plans to address them.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) System throughout the organization.
  • Design and deploy internal systems and business metric dashboards to drive execution, accountability, and scalability.
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination, upstream and downstream, between multiple departments involved or impacted by these projects.
  • Oversee expense and budget management across the Software Organization.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop long-term/multi-year growth strategy.
  • Work directly with the Scores leadership team to establish the organization's long-term objectives and day-to-day operational alignment to strategic objectives.
  • Act as a vision champion who understands Scores priorities and makes sure everyone in the company is executing towards them.
  • Structure & execute cascading goals and objectives across Scores organization.
  • Take on special assignments at the request of VPGM Scores, which may include everything from Product related projects to Growth initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage the fiscal planning process for the B2B Scores input to the Scores plan.
  • Establish and execute a management cadence for the Scores organization inclusive of operational, key program, financial and departmental business reviews.
  • Run select cross-functional projects with goals ranging from assessing progress, achieving goals, and motivating individuals to achieve their goals.
  • Act as proxy for the VPGM Scores, advising key personnel on ways to achieve alignment on decisions, and by attending meetings in place of VPGM Scores, and making decisions on VPGM behalf where requested.
  • Responsible for B2B Scores Organization budget and resource management, meeting regularly with leaders to discuss resource and expense optimization.
  • Set weekly Leadership staff meeting agenda, provide insights and analysis to assist in strategic decisions debated, track follow through of actions and execution of decisions.
  • Take notes and make them available to Leadership.
  • Take control over the content and agendas for significant internal meetings such as executive offsites, internal all hands, board meetings etc.
  • Act as the communication conduit for the organization, establishing communication cadence and establish mechanisms for sharing of key organizational updates to all levels of the organization.
  • Act as an expert facilitator in managing conversations, synthesizing multiple points of view, and aligning on direction to ensure decisions are being made correctly.

What We're Seeking
  • Degree in Business Administration or similar field; master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated executive leadership experience, ideally within the software industry and with global reach, preferably with analytics and SaaS experience.
  • Proven success establishing strong relationships and working across all functions within the organization.
  • Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking skills - able to see the big picture and align it with detailed execution.
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives, strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Experience with complex data analysis and leveraging technology and systems to turn data into action.
  • Experience with budget management including coordination with budget owners and corporate finance.
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure.
  • Highly effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deliver targeted results.
  • Ability to understand and effectively manage highly confidential information.
  • A self-starter with the ability to operate with little immediate supervision.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $158,000 to $248,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
