Employee Type: TemporaryThis position will assist in performing a variety of quality control/assurance, surveying, data collection, and data summary tasks on stream and wetland restoration, mine reclamation, and other similar construction projects. This person also performs basic duties for various projects as assigned.
Job Description:
Essential Duties:
Provide survey assistance
Conduct weekly and monthly job reporting
Implement and enforce safety policy and procedures to ensure safe working environment and increase employee safety awareness
Perform field monitoring and data collection for various activities within projects
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to comprehend construction schematics
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to operate a UTV safely in all conditions
Must have basic surveying knowledge and the ability to learn construction surveying equipment and techniques
Proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Excel
Proven track record of meeting deadlines
Ability to operate gas-powered hand-held tools
Required Education and Experience:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program, with the completion of one year towards a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study.
