Job Description:
Currently partnered with a bank holding company that is looking to identify an attorney to add to their legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and negotiate loan documents, lease finance agreements, and commercial finance transactions
- Review organizational documents
- Analyze commercial credit products
- Understand the UCC and its articles in commercial transactions
- Draft and negotiate commitment letters
- Coordinate outside legal counsel
- Coordinate and schedule loan closings
- Complete post-closing files
- Maintain compliance with bank politics
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience
- Familiarity with federal and state law commercial transactions.
- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school
- Member of the Illinois Bar
