DEPARTMENT | ROLE DESCRIPTION:
This role manages and promotes the Oconee State Bank brand. They strive to keep OSB top of mind of our customers, soon to be customers, centers of influence, and communities.
The Senior Director of Marketing and Business Development is the leader for our marketing and business development teams. This person is responsible for the development, management, and coordination of the bank's marketing strategy, communications, sales, business development and community relations activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Develop, articulate, and execute the overall strategy aligned with the company's business objectives, while driving brand positioning, differentiation, and brand equity to enhance market share and brand awareness
Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company's values and maintaining consistent brand identity across all touchpoints
Determine, measure, monitor, and report KPIs
Utilize the most beneficial platforms, while maintaining stewardship of the bank's resources
Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's business objectives and collaborate with different teams to develop and implement product specific plans to insure success of marketing and business development initiatives
Ensure the team delivers effective campaigns to generate leads, cross sell existing customers, increase brand awareness, and drive sales growth
Create and Manage budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize marketing and business development spends to achieve maximum ROI
Collaborate with different teams to develop and implement product specific plans to insure success of marketing and business development initiatives
Lead business development efforts related to the customer journey and experience to expand and retain businesses while create raving fans of OSB
Strategically engage with our community events to drive sales opportunities
Lead and mentor a team of marketing and business development professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to drive excellence in marketing and sales execution through the L.E.A.D model
Oversee the creation of captivating collateral, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, advertisements, press releases, and digital content. Execute comprehensive marketing campaigns, including web, email, print, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising.
Optimize multi-channel efforts to reach target audiences effectively through all relevant platforms
Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer insights, data analytics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
Lead strategic partnerships and collaborations with external agencies, vendors and influencers to amplify brand reach and awareness

EXPERIENCE | QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
10+ years of marketing, business development, or related experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or an equivalent field
10–15 years of experience as a marketing officer or an equivalent senior marketing leadership role
Proven track record of developing, managing and executing wide-ranging marketing campaigns across B2B and B2C verticals in a diverse geography
Proficiency in public relations, business development strategies, customer experience enrichment, analytics, and data-led marketing
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and develop marketing professionals
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, senior executives, and external stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making
