Responsible for all aspects of the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes (including tool path) for machining, turning or grinding, tooling/fixture design, creation/management of documentation/support drawings through the application of professionally accepted engineering principles and techniques.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Independently applies accepted engineering principles, completing assigned tasks efficiently under minimal supervision; conferring with other technical personnel on complex matters, specific assignment objectives, points of emphasis, reference and information sources, and possible solutions as needed. • May be required to create 3D models, 2D drawings and cutter path with industry standard CAD/CAM systems. • Interprets customer and company technical drawings for sales and manufacturing departments to ensure products are manufactured in accordance with design specifications; suggests modifications to improve the manufacturing process.
