Your Role: Shopper Marketing Manager, Walmart &Strategic Pet Retail

Do you have a deep omnichannel commerce background, solid Walmart experience, interest in Animal Health, and a passion for building Commerce & digital disruption? Then the Senior Manager Shopper Marketing – Walmart and Strategic Accounts may be for you. Shopper marketing is accelerating Strategy/Planning/Execution + Capabilities across US Pet Health.  We are looking for rock solid thought leaders and executors to translate brand strategy to retail and ensure growth for Walmart and other strategic accounts.  The right leader will drive omnichannel Shopper Marketing Strategy, Planning & Execution across Walmart and other multi-channel retail partners + Commerce Capabilities.

Your Responsibilities:  

• The position will lead the development and stewardship of strategic marketing initiatives at Walmart and other multi-channel retail partners that increase the presence of our brands across all platforms.




• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work cross-functionally to deliver business results. 




• Working in hand with Brand, Sales, Category Management and our Global Digital Transformation team, the successful candidate will leverage brand equity to change shopper behavior across the path to purchase, have an analytic and data driven mindset, leveraging deep knowledge of Walmart and other customer shopper marketing capabilities to drive growth.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): 

• BA/BS Degree




• Minimum 7 years relevant experience




• Proven Walmart shopper marketing management




• Demonstrate critical thinking, resiliency, and strong problem-solving skills




• Ability to develop and manage budgets




• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate complex marketing goals, plans and results to broad cross-functional teams

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): 

• Demonstrate an interest and skillset suited to eCommerce and retail technology




• Previous experience with JBP process




• Demonstrated understanding of customer strategies and retail environment




• Previous experience partnering with agencies

Additional Information:  

• Travel: Up to 15% travel. Travel will be required to Elanco HQ for meetings and Customer Meetings as determined by the team.
