Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an IS Business Analyst in Columbus, OH. This is a mostly remote role with occasional on-site requirements.

Overview:
The IS Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and understanding clinical and business customer requirements that define the overall architecture of systems. This position will directly support the IS Applications Architect design team which provides the discipline to ensure that investments in process, information and technology support the hospital's strategic goals. This position must have a broad view of enterprise systems and infrastructures and should have a strong understanding of the healthcare business and an understanding of healthcare technologies. The IS Business Analyst supports the Applications team to create solutions that have affordable and sustainable IT architectures that solve business problems.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis and Support:

• Create and modify existing templates to clearly document business requirements, business cases, new project requests, and all the functional and non-functional requirements to align business objectives through the strategic application of people, processes, and technology


• Develop requirements documentation in accordance with industry standard and company specific methodologies

Project Management (Quality, Planning, Budgeting):

• Align business goals and requirements in the project scope and define measures to determine if these goals were obtained


• Establish processes to ensure that system requirements, project testing, and project outcomes satisfy defined requirements and project success criteria


• Is accountable for defining clear, testable requirements for all assigned projects, as well as ongoing quality and process improvement for the project

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required


• 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role preferred


• 3-5 years of experience in a lab setting preferred


• Experience with a Lab Information Management System (LIMS) or other lab tracking experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
