Responsibilities
- General ledger
- Manage sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Accounts Receivable
- Update Accounts Payable
- Other assignments as requested
- Conduct monthly accounting close
- Credit Card management and reconciliation
- Ready monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents
- Arrange cash flow projections, as needed
- Ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement
- Help with monthly accounting close
Requirements:
- Strong organization skills
- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines
- Crucial accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
- Bookkeeping experience desired
- Coding Invoices experience highly preferred
- Adeptness in Company Credit Card
- Demonstrated knowledge of general ledger
- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required
- Practical knowledge of Enter Invoices
- Experience with account reconciliation
- General familiarity with Form 1099
- Foundational knowledge in Sales Tax
- Background working with QuickBooks Desktop is Required
- 2+ years of related experience- Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
