Bigo Live is looking for a Data Analytics intern to join our user team! A successful candidate will be dependable in delivery and reliable in knowledge. If you have a drive for business intelligence and insights beyond the given information you will excel at this role.
Internship length: at least 6 months as a full-time intern with the opportunity to convert to full-time employees based on performance and headcount
Responsibilities
Build and maintain automations, visualizations, and reporting tools used by operations
Use SQL to extract data and create reports.
Assist with ad-hoc requests as needed.
Provide actionable insights to user group teams and leaders.
Become subject matter experts on areas of emphasis and be able to flag significant changes quickly.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field i.e. mathematics, economics, business, statistics, etc.
Proficiency in various forms of SQL e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets formulas and functions; Scripting language experience like Python, R, Javascript, Google App Script a plus
Understand and be able to communicate data into actionable goals
Comfortable with presenting data and information to others, sometimes non-technical audiences
Versatility in focus and coordination with other team members
