Villa Kali Ma is an integrative and holistic treatment program for women focusing on healing the underlying trauma that is at the root of their pain and suffering, most commonly showing up as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse, but also as other mental, physical, emotional and spiritual maladies.
At Villa Kali Ma, our mission is to empower women to connect to the divine feminine power within, let go of the false beliefs of the ego, remember who they really are and take their power back. By merging evidence-based and holistic healing modalities we assist women in overcoming destructive behavior patterns fostering inner peace, self-love and lasting happiness. Beyond being a treatment center, we are a community, a family, and a force for positive change.
We have 2 residential programs and one outpatient program located in Rancho Santa Fe, Carlsbad and Del Mar, California offering evidenced-based treatment modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, ACT, and Expressive Arts Therapy along with holistic treatment modalities such as Mindfulness Practices, Acupuncture, Massage, Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Shamanic Healing & Journeying, Sound Healing with Crystal Bowls, Reiki Energy Healing, TRE Trauma Release and Ayurvedic Healing Education. We also offer Equine Therapy outings, Organic Gardening & Sustainable Living, Plant-Based Cooking & Nutrition, Life Skills, Journaling & Goal Setting, and Nature Therapy.
Responsibilities
A part-time Primary Therapist at Villa Kali Ma would be required to see 3 clients twice per week for individual therapy, attend a weekly treatment team meeting to collaborate with the clinical team on each clients treatment plan, keep clinical notes on all sessions using our electronic medical records system (KIPU), assist with eligibility assessments, Bio-psycho-social assessments, other clinical assessments as needed, and assist with utilization reviews. In addition, if you have special skills, abilities or passions and want to lead groups, we would love to hear about it!
Qualifications
LMFT, LCSW or LPCC currently licensed to practice in California.
Minimum 3 years experience working with trauma, substance abuse, mental health issues. Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and Crisis Management.
