Job Description
As a (Contract) Food Safety Auditor, you'll report to the Technical Manager and work remotely, conducting audits.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Conduct food safety inspections/audits following QIMA/WQS and scheme owner rules.
  • Develop inspections/audits reports within a determined timeframe.
  • Summarize and evaluate inspection/audit findings.
  • Communicate findings/results of inspections/audits with client representatives.
  • Develop effective audit plans for the completion of assigned inspections/audits within a determined timeframe.
Qualifications
  • PrimusGFS:
  • At least 02 years of experience in areas such as quality assurance or food safety functions in food production or manufacturing, retailing, inspection, or enforcement.
  • Education in an agricultural/crop-based, food or bio-science-related discipline or, as a minimum, have successfully completed a higher education course or equivalent qualification in one of those disciplines
  • 16-hour or 2-day HACCP course based on Codex
  • Lead Auditor Course with a duration of one week/40 hours or equivalent.
  • PrimusGFS 4-day training (Seminar Training of 24h plus Auditor Course of 8h)
  • GLOBALG.A.P. Inspector:
  • At least a post-high school diploma or equivalent (minimum course duration of 2 years) in a discipline related to Crops AND a minimum of 2 years of work experience gained after finishing post-high school studies and overall 3 years experience in the agricultural industry
OR
  • A post-high school diploma with a minimum duration of 2 years in a food-related discipline AND a minimum of 4 years of industry experience either in a practical capacity on farm/site or in a technical production management role related to Crops.
  • Food Hygiene Training (min. 8 hours) covering: site management, water, fertilizer, equipment, facilities and personal hygiene, and practical case studies.
  • Specific AG training: IPM, Plant Protection, Fertilizer, Soil Management (can be part of graduation).
  • 8-hour HACCP course based on Codex.
  • One-day (8 hours) auditing principles training.
