THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Project Manager is responsible for managing the schedule, budget, quality, and safety of a Project in partnership with the Superintendent. This position will report to the Senior Project Manager/Project Executive/Vice President.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five (5) years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Experience supervising all phases of multi-family apartment unit construction from sitework to punch list through project completion and management turnover.
Experience in multi-family wood framing construction is a MUST.
Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, cost estimating, purchasing, engineering principles and techniques, building codes as well as accounting principles
Experience with delivery methods; General Contracting, CMAR, and Design/Build
Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to read, understand and interpret contact documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
Required experience:
Minimum of 5+ years recent experience as a Superintendent for Multi-Family General Contractor
Minimum of 5+ years recent wood frame experience
