Job Description:
StevenDouglas is searching for an Accountant to support the Finance team of a growing Private Equity firm in Jacksonville.
Position details:
- Assist in the GL accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and month end close processes
- Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage expense reporting in Concur, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Private Equity team to support accounting functions specific to investment funds
- Compile and analyze financial statements to assess financial performance, identify variances, and provide insights to management.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Required/Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is required.
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, Travel and Expense Reporting, and financial reporting processes
- Proficiency in Concur, AP system (Bill.com), SAGE Accounting system and other relevant financial software
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
