Position summary: We are looking to fill the Key position of Purchasing Agent to manage inventory for high end Automation projects for a discriminating, affluent clientele.

Qualifications • Experience of 3 years or more working as a Purchasing Agent • Experience in the AV/Automation industry a plus • Must have valid NY driver's license. • Must be a team player with ability to take direction and multi task • Polite with experience working in a customer service environment • Must be reliable and able to complete task in allotted timeframe
Responsibilities
Inventory management • Work with sales/PM and technicians to ensure workflow • Issuing purchase orders - expedite and redirect as needed, pricing negotiation • Equipment Receiving - review invoices and approved for payment • Track back orders, RMA's, reach out to vendors when needed. • Forecast inventory needs based on historical, current and future demands • Evaluate and qualify potential suppliers • Manage POs and Invoices in Quickbooks • Equipment staging • Issuing RFQs • Coordinate and execute yearly warehouse inventory -
