Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, Texas (TX) that is looking for a Senior Technology Equipment Security Associate.

Responsibilities:
Physical Security Measures:


  • Implement and monitor physical security measures for technology equipment, including servers, networking devices, and other critical infrastructure

  • Collaborate with facilities management to ensure secure access control and surveillance systems are effectively deployed

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of technology equipment, tracking additions, removals, and movements

  • Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with asset management records

Security Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring that technology equipment complies with security policies, standards, and guidelines

  • Collaborate with the security team to address any non-compliance issues and implement corrective measures

Incident Response:

  • Participate in incident response activities related to physical security incidents, such as theft or unauthorized access

  • Work with cross-functional teams to investigate and document security incidents

Equipment Disposal:

  • Manage the secure disposal of decommissioned technology equipment, ensuring data destruction and environmentally responsible disposal practices

  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to execute equipment disposal processes

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with IT, security, and facilities teams to integrate physical security measures into overall security strategies

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of security initiatives







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5 years of related experience

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Basic understanding of physical security principles and practices

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security practices






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
