The Front Desk/Patient Care Associate provides extraordinary front-line customer service for Student Health Services; performs general medical office duties, supports patient care by ensuring that all required patient information is entered into the electronic health record (EHR); communicates to providers, ancillary staff, and patients to ensure appropriate delivery of services. The Front Desk/Patient Care Associate works with a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals to provide clinical services, to the students at The Ohio State University.

Qualifications:
Required: High school graduate or equivalent; one year of work experience or training in healthcare; previous front-line customer service experience; Basic Life Support- Health Care Worker (BLS-HCW) certification; excellent verbal and written communication skills; medical terminology training or experience. Successful completion of a background check and a health screening.
Desired: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience; 6 months' work experience in an outpatient ambulatory primary care setting, excellent problem-solving skills; experience with electronic health information management systems; keyboarding training or experience.
Target hiring range is $15.00-$19.42/hr.
