The Opportunity:

As our Field Services Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects on the ground. You'll be the bridge between our engineering team and our clients, responsible for managing project timelines, resources, and most importantly, communication. This role demands a self-starter who excels in project management and client-facing interactions, is well-organized, and possesses the initiative to operate without the need for close supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage HVAC field project and service operations from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers to streamline project execution.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Implement and maintain project management best practices and methodologies.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee a comprehensive audit and quality assurance program of the departmental outputs, to include all documentation and practices, in alignment with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Conduct regular internal audits of processes and outputs to ensure compliance with ISO 9001.
  • Collaborate with external auditors for periodic review, ensuring that all audit findings are appropriately addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain a robust system for tracking quality metrics, aiming for continuous improvement in processes and deliverables.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in project management, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation within the departments to ensure optimal productivity.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate difficult discussions and find creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Experience in the energy efficiency or sustainability industry is a plus, but not required.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
