Staff Accountant Job in Phoenix, AZ! We are currently seeking a driven candidate who's looking to join a leader in their industry. You will be responsible for performing month end, maintaining financial reports, and preparing and analyzing budgets. If you have at least 2 years of accounting experience, this job might be for you!
Responsibilities will include:
Journal entries, GL maintenance, and complex account reconciliations
P&L Statements and Balance Sheets
Review P&L account variances
Assistance with current internal controls surrounding the financial reporting process
Prepare internal and external financial statements by analyzing information from the general ledger and department heads
Analyze current procedures and reporting and recommend changes to develop and implement best practices
Prepare various schedules and perform necessary research for the yearly audit
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance
0-5 years of full cycle accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel (V-lookups/Pivot)
Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient
