Job Overview:

The Warehouse Manager will support the business by managing daily operations of warehouse activities - facilities, equipment, documentation, safety & health, etc. To monitor and improve warehouse efficiency and stock management, inventory control.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

In the role of a Warehouse Manager, you will: 


  • Oversee and manage daily operations of warehouse

  • Implement housekeeping and organizational measures to ensure a logical, safe and accurate warehouse space

  • Manage costs associated with shipping/receiving, determine areas for improvement, implement changes as needed and remaining under budget.

  • Ensure ERP visibility of systematic storage and retrieval of all materials

  • Support shop production and service/repair schedule by making sure orders are issued and completed and closed in a timely manner.

  • Maintain 95%+ On Time performance on outbound parts orders.

  • Monitor inventory adjustments and establish corrective measures to proactively correct shortages/overages

  • Manage and Monitor Cycle Counting Program to increase inventory record accuracy to 98% or higher

  • Lead annual physical inventory by organizing timing and resources to minimize the impact to the business

  • Implement continuous development programs across people and systems, to improve team capabilities, workflow quality, costs and return on investments. Maintain and drive improved efficiency and effectiveness of all warehouse and logistics areas

  • Prepare work schedule as required for warehouse and purchasing team

  • Recruit, develop, train and terminate personnel as required

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in services or manufacturing

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a management/supervisory position in a manufacturing environment Customer-focused in defining quality and establishing priorities

  • 10 years of operational experience in a manufacturing environment

  • proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP

Eligibility Requirements:


  • Lift up to 45 lbs. on a regular basis

  • Work in a manufacturing environment where noise, dust, and chemicals are present

  • Safety glasses, safety shoes, and ear plugs (where required) must be worn daily

  • Perform sedentary work with frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending, and other physical activities

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Experience operating a forklift, hand truck, and other equipment specific to duties in a shipping department

  • Self-Motivated

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Ability and willingness to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Ability and willingness to use a computer to look up information or enter in material / parts on a daily basis.
