DEI Specialist at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description:

Our client, a law firm, is looking or a DEI Specialist on a contract basis through the end of August. In this position, you will be coordinating and supporting the company's diversity teams and events.


Responsibilities:

• Lead the response to all client and industry diversity-related surveys from start to finish


• Communicate with partners and/or outside associations, tracking and preparing responses by coordinating with inclusion & diversity, human resources, talent development, and finance, as necessary


• Own and execute the planning and execution of all internal DEI events. Duties include understanding goals of events, invitations, ads, swag, tracking registrants, coordination with speakers, and all other logistics


• Coordinate with the marketing team on all external DEI events

About You:

• Bachelor's degree preferred


• 2+ years of experience within HR or L&D within a law firm or professional services


• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment


• Advanced knowledge of Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables, functions, data validation, data filters, sorting)


• Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
