Join the Solution Architecture team! As an architect, you will play a key technical leadership role in transforming and architecting Publix's modernization efforts for intranet, extranet web applications, and mobile apps.
Responsibilities:
Lead the efforts in defining solution architectures for intranet, extranet web applications and mobile web apps.
Provide leadership and hands-on technical guidance to deliver next-generation websites and content management applications.
Develop comprehensive content management strategies for intranet, extranet websites, and mobile apps deployed on-premises, in the Public Cloud, and SharePoint Online.
Produce architecture documentation and deliverables, including Architecture Plans, ADRs, Proof-of-concepts, Standards, and Roadmaps.
Provide leadership, knowledge, and experience to delivery teams in the architecture, design, and delivery of cost-effective and sustainable solutions.
Ensure that all solution design aspects follow best practices and meet the business's requirements by participating in conceptual and physical design, design reviews, and approving design deliverables.
Provide training, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to project team members.
Collaborate with other Architects, the UI/UX team, the Cloud Center of Excellence, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Power Platform teams to define architecture, new standards, and best practices not provided by the current architecture standards.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of hands-on architect experience in architecting (information, security, and integration architecture), designing, and developing enterprise-grade web applications hosted on-premises, in the Public Cloud, and the SharePoint Online.
8+ years of experience with SharePoint development technologies, mainly in SharePoint Framework (SPFx), web parts, workflows, SharePoint REST API, and UI framework MS Fluent.
7+ years of experience working with NodeJS, JavaScript, or TypeScript with a major framework like React, HTML/CSS, Modular/Pluggable architecture, C#, and REST API architecture.
5+ years of experience in integrating SharePoint Online with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure.
3+ years of experience with hands-on knowledge of at least 2 or more languages: Swift, Kotlin, Objective-C, Java.
Must have a good understanding of Microsoft GraphAPI.
Must have a deep understanding of SharePoint development standards and best practices and be able to apply this knowledge to develop robust, scalable SharePoint solutions.
Must have an expert understanding and working knowledge of Continuous Integration and deployment tools like GIT, Nodejs/Yarn, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
Experience with web design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.
Experience with front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel) and package managers, such as NPM, Bower, and Gulp.js.
Experience in modern dev tools, processes, and methodologies, such as TDD, Unit Testing, and functional testing using Mocha, Chai, Playwright, Jest, Jasmine, or other frameworks.
Experience with multiple Content Management Systems, such as Adobe Experience Cloud, WordPress, etc.
Experience with Agile project management and software development methodologies like Scrum and SAFe.
Broad knowledge of Information Technology Systems, with a strong understanding of the relationship between business processes, applications, databases, operating systems, processing platforms, storage platforms, security systems, and networks.
Experience building responsive websites with scalability in mind. Write reusable UI components based on design patterns and workflows.
Continuous learning to stay current on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Web and SharePoint Online design and development practices.
Strong communication skills, including expressing complex technical concepts to different audiences in writing and conference calls.
