The Sr. Informatica Administrator (IA) conducts the day-to-day administration of Informatica platforms. In this role, the IA will be responsible for implementation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and performance of on-prem and cloud-based Informatica tools and applications; including: PowerCenter (PC) and Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide full range of administration duties for the Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC platforms; Manage PC repositories, schedule, and monitor PC workflows; Provision access to PC and IDMC components
Support development teams
Manages system maintenance activities including reviewing error logs and user-reported errors, then perform root cause analysis and develop remediation plans
Develop and manage the implementation of policies, standards, guidelines, and best practices to effectively administer the Informatica environments
Develop and maintain standard operation procedures for installation, configuration, and other administration tasks
Automate work items and tasks
Plan and support the migration of PowerCenter workflows to IDMC
Proactively monitor, trend, and tune the Informatica environments
Evaluate access and use through regular audit reports
Respond to user requests (tickets) in timely manner
Mentor and train team members on administration duties of Informatica
Promote code from one environment to another following strict SOX audit guidelines
Communicate to leadership system health and performance of both production and development environments
Participate in disaster recovery planning and annual testing
Provide on call support for incidents related to data integration platforms
Proactively monitor the platforms to detect issues before they impact users; monitor for: warnings, errors, performance, capacity, configuration, etc.
Work with vendor to install software patches
Coordinate work with other database and system administrators
Troubleshoot software issues
Support production jobs with performance tuning, metrics, and troubleshooting
Experience and Education Requirements
Associate's/Bachelor's Degree (preferred emphasis in technology, engineering, or math related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience
4-7 years of experience working with and administering Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC
Experience with setup, configuration, and content management of workflows, governance, and integration tools
Experience with performance, tuning, and troubleshooting of the Informatica platforms
Experience automating, scripting, and streamlining processes preferred
Skills and Abilities
Excellent understanding of the following technologies: Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC platform and services.
Ability to code and debug PowerCenter workflows (end to end ETL processing)
Working knowledge of database management systems
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Working knowledge of MS360 platform including: MSExcel, MSWord, Visio, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, file shares, networking concepts, and cloud environments
Working knowledge of other data integration and ETL tools and applications (e.g. Alteryx, TableauPrep)
Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts and other IT best practices
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell or similar scripting/programming language
Fast, adaptive learner with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in fast paced, multi workstream environment and be able to effectively report on progress, prioritize, and delegate to others where necessary
Exhibits flexibility and tolerance for ambiguity, strong work ethic, and a results-oriented work style
Ability to work with others to achieve team goals, as well as mentoring and developing skills of others
Exceptional customer service skills, leveraging conflict resolution skills where necessary
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Ability to work in a team environment
Strong technical documentation ability
Knowledge of Azure and GitHub is desired
Other Requirements
Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned.
Regular and punctual attendance
Minimal travel required (less than 10%)
After hours and weekends, on-call responsibilities (on a rotating basis, shared with other teammates)
