This position serves as a material planning, purchasing, expediting, logistics or field purchasing team member who, with guidance from Purchasing Management, handles project material. • Manage critical material orders and/or supervise personnel at a mid management level with oversight from Material Management • Monitor and report supplier's performance toward completion of all deliverables in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the Purchase Order • Collaborate across all disciplines including Material Management, Supplier Quality Surveillance (SQS)/Quality, Engineering, Project Data & Document Management (PDDM), and Construction • Act as liaison among Fluor, Supplier, and Client, as required • Generate documents, organize and manage files, and maintain tracking data and reports • Perform data entry proficiently in the Material Management Work Process with the approved Corporate Reference Tool for Material Management to facilitate project requirements • Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements • Bachelor's Degree and three (3) years of work-related experience or a combination of education OR 7 years if non-degreed • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements • Must have an active a TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance • U.S. Citizen
Preferred Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent appropriate General Certificates of Secondary Education or global equivalent, however four (4) year accredited degree or global equivalent preferred • Experience in Supply Chain for Life Sciences /Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Data Centers, Facilites Maintenance or Construction • Experience in EPCM industry • Ability to communicate fluently in English (read, write, and speak) • Working toward applicable professional certification(s) or license(s) • Experience should be primarily in the area of material management • Good interpersonal and communication skills • Good computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs • Decision making skills
