Position Overview
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the business's operations. We're seeking a dynamic individual who is extremely process driven, has strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires close collaboration with leadership as well as product development, sales, and marketing. Key responsibilities include inventory management, logistics coordination, budget management, leadership, and overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and prevent stock outs or overstock situations.
Forecast and present purchasing plans to leadership to maintain calendar and on time deliveries
Continuously improve operational procedures, systems, and principles.
Oversee shipping, distribution, and logistics to ensure timely delivery to customers.
Identify bottlenecks and streamline processes to enhance productivity.
Implement best practices for efficient apparel manufacturing.
Supervise and motivate teams to ensure timelines and milestones are met
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues.
Collaborate with logistics partners to optimize transportation and reduce lead times.
Work closely with finance and budgeting teams to manage operational expenses.
Optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring on-time delivery and product quality.
Address customer inquiries and resolve any operational issues promptly.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in operations at the management level (Apparel Industry Preferred)
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
Effective communicator and presenter with strong leadership skills
Strong knowledge in inventory control, quality assurance, and purchasing
Strong business orientation, analytical aptitude and computing skills
Exceptionally organized with the ability to create and manage processes
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in software tools for inventory management and purchase planning
Proficiency in Google G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive) preferred
Experience in Asana or similar project management software a plus
