Description
Creation of work orders in SysproEnter employee labor sheets, log RMA and internal defects.Create monthly salvage letters for customers.Review and combine customer orders to build loads, including pickups and deliveries.Serve as backup to Transportation; ensure orders to build cost-effective routes, minimizing empty miles while meeting customer timelines.Schedule drivers and equipment to transport loads.Provide information needed by drivers, customers, recipients, and others.Local purchasing parts, inventory, and office supplies.Maintains contact with vendors and maintains comprehensive descriptions of current products and prices.Conduct self-guided research to become familiar with product availability and find the best quality, price, and delivery combination.Keep detailed records; prepare and submit necessary reports.Prepares purchase orders and obtains recommendations from suppliers for substitute items.Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered and resolves shipments in error with suppliers.
