2nd shift – 2pm – 10pm

Starting rate:  $19.50 per hour start with $.90 shift premium

(up to $25.17 per hour within 2 years)

Vacation - 10 paid days (prorated in 1st year depending on hire date)

Key Responsibilities:

• Check outbound orders for defects and accuracy according to order specs.


• Prepare BOL’s


• Move freight, stock or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand, using pallet jacks, or forklifts.


• Ensure safe and accurate loading of orders.


• Unload raw materials from inbound trucks.


• Verify accuracy of orders received.


• Assists with month end inventory.


• Place raw materials in correct area of warehouse or production floor.


• Ability to secure the trailer with a load lock and/or cargo net.


• Load trailers in a fashion where nothing tips over.


• Maintain clean and orderly warehouse at all times.


• Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.


• Follow safety regulations.


• Any other duties as needed.


• Maintain forklift certification.

Requirements

• Computer experience in a Shipping environment.


• Typically possess 1-2 years of relevant experience, as well as 1-2 years forklift experience in logistics and or shipping department.


• Must have basic math skills


• Must be able to lift 40+ lbs.


• Must be self-motivated.


• Ability to follow directions as instructed.


• Must be a team player.


• Must have great attendance record.


• Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment.


• Must have good organizational and time-management skills.


• Must have good interpersonal and communication skills.


• Forklift Certification preferred.
