Location: Hybrid - Foodbank ShareHouse (82 Coromar Dr. Goleta, CA 93117)
Salary Range: $28.85 - $31.25 hourly, taxable, commensurate with experience

About the Position:
The Community Programs Manager is responsible for the planning and all daily operations of the Foodbank of Santa Barbara County's (FBSBC) food literacy and nutrition security programs in South County. This role plays a pivotal role ensuring the success of all Foodbank community programs as pathways to the Foodbank's mission of ending hunger and transforming the health of Santa Barbara County. The Community Programs Manager reports into the Director of Community Programs & Education and will be part of an innovative, energized team within an organization that is constantly moving forward toward its mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day functions of Foodbank programs in South Santa Barbara County including community outreach, program facilitation, and reporting.
Plan all aspects of program execution including scheduling, volunteer support needs, educational materials, food selection, etc.
Conduct volunteer training specific to program logistics and program evaluation.
Lead preparation, daily delivery and recordkeeping for a Summer Food Service Program in cities in South Santa Barbara County (Picnic in the Park).
Implement the expansion of South County program sites with key partner organizations in alignment with organizational strategic goals.
Support the Director of Community Programs & Education with the introduction of new, innovative nutrition security programs including Food Rx, Healthy Farmworkers, prepared meals, etc.
Identify areas for improvement and partake in creative and strategic problem-solving in collaboration with other departments.
Ensure the on-going evaluation and monitoring of all South County programs.
Guide the implementation of new technologies, including Link2Feed, Routific, etc.
Prepare for and execute emergency/disaster relief services as needed.
Directly supervise the Senior Community Programs Coordinator and temporary staff as applicable.
Other duties as assigned.
Successful Candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in reading/writing and speaking Spanish
2 years project management/supervision experience
Experience with public speaking and demonstrated presentation skills
Experience engaging and collaborating with social service organizations, K-12 schools, community centers, etc.
Ability to lift 30 pounds
Access to reliable transportation for occasional work-related travel
Flexible schedule to meet program goals
Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Skills and Abilities:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
