What We're Looking for
Strong RN who holds a valid State of Ohio Registered Nurse license
Health expert with a minimum of one year experience in a public health setting, community, school, or pediatric nursing.
Life-saving abilities by being current on CPR/AED training
Mission
As our Health Coordinator, you'll be the advocate for our students' well-being. Apple OS, iOS, and JAMF enterprise management software
Screen and evaluate vision, hearing, scoliosis, and other assessments as required by the State of Ohio.
Identify abnormal health findings, making professional referrals when necessary.
Maintain, evaluate, and interpret cumulative health data of students.
File reports regarding immunizations and health, keeping our records accurate and up-to-date.
Coordinate medical action plans for students with severe medical conditions.
Educate staff on recognizing and managing severe medical conditions and other essential training including bloodborne pathogens.
Enforce policies regarding exclusion and re-admission of students with infectious diseases and related communications.
Administer first aid and notify parents of injuries.
Maintain supplies for first aid kits
Proven ability to maintain security and confidentiality
