Job Description:

Viridi Parente is looking for a program manager who will oversee multiple large scale NPI.

This Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of new product implementation, from inception through planning, initial development & prototype, pre-production, production launch, and program closeout. A successful candidate will have a strong technical and program or project management background, and experience collaborating with broad cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop project charters and plans to ensure a shared understanding of the project requirements among all stakeholders and alignment with the larger organization mission.
  • Serve as the primary driver of engagement across all departments from management to sales, design engineering, MFG engineer, material planning, supply chain, production, and service to ensure project tasks are closed out and objectives are met.
  • Create and drive multiple complex project schedules and ensure that tasks are completed in accordance with established deliverables, schedules, and budgets.
  • Act as the focal point for all project communication between departments to keep all parties well informed and up to date on activity statuses, changes, issues, and key decisions.
  • Conduct program risks assessments and develop mitigation plans for potential issues, while engaging management at appropriate times to ensure project objectives are still met.
  • Ensure program adherence to internal PMO procedures and product development processes.
  • Manage and document all project/program scope changes.
  • Conduct, lead, and document all major design and stage gate reviews.
  • Help to further develop internal program/project management SOPs and best practices.
  • Oversee other non-NPI projects as the organization rapidly expands and scales.

Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years working as a program manager, project manager, project engineer, or equivalent experience working as a lead on new product introduction projections.
  • BS in engineering (preferred mechanical, electrical, or industrial)
  • Experience developing project schedules in MS project, or other related software (Wrike experience a plus)
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly organize large of amounts of changing information and effectively communicate to diverse audiences including executive management.
  • Experience with new product development and or experience with automation implementation.
  • Broad range of operations experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP systems, data bases, and spreadsheet analysis. Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and drive task completion in a fast paced environment
  • Desire to help develop organizational standards and build program/project management processes

Salary: $80-90K, depending on experience and qualifications
