A full service MEP firm, located in Manhattan with reach in Massachusetts, specializing in designing and implementing innovative solutions for commercial and residential buildings. Seeking an experienced ICT Design Engineer to join the team and contribute to a variety of projects.
Your new role
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement ICT (Information and Communication Technology) systems for buildings.
- Develop detailed design plans for structured cabling, data centers, wireless networks, and audio-visual systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and identify requirements.
- Create technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for ICT systems.
- Select appropriate equipment, materials, and technologies for each project.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed installations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in ICT design for buildings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
