POSITION TITLE: Director, Consumer Products

COMPANY: Thrill One Events LLC

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Revenue

STATUS: Full time exempt (salaried)

REPORTS TO: Chief Revenue Officer

LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada

Position Summary:

This is a global role and reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. The Director of Consumer Products will manage key licensees across the portfolio and will be responsible for all aspects of consumer products partner management, organizational integration, go-to market strategies, and financial management. This role will oversee the day-to-day of licensed products, retail activations and e-commerce across all brands. This role will develop and manage revenue, strategy, and growth plans, and will work closely with internal business development, marketing, and brand teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Manages all aspects of consumer products and licensing partnerships.

2. Strategizes with licensees to drive program growth and increased distribution.

3. Develops and implements a comprehensive merchandise and ecommerce strategy that aligns with the brand's goals and objectives.

4. Drives sales growth and profitability through effective management of retail, live event merchandise and ecommerce operations.

5. Provide insights and analytics on consumer products performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities.

6. Develops and updates strategic plans, both short and long term, to meet and/or exceed budget, plans to include budgets, forecasts, etc.

7. Collaborates with internal and broader company divisions to create and execute product collaborations, unique retail experiences and unexpected partnerships; Generates new and innovative ideas for product licensing extensions.

8. Partners with internal stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives, identify and resolve business issues, and maximize existing business while seeking new opportunities.

9. Develops incremental revenue opportunities for existing licensees.

10. Manages the live event merchandise strategy and relationships including production partners, logistics, venue relationships and point of sale.

11. Liaises and collaborates with licensees and internal brand marketing department.

12. Liaises and collaborates with internal finance department to track and report on licensing royalties and consumer products revenues.

13. Translates and leverages consumer insights, licensing category and market trends into meaningful and executable business strategies.

14. Other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Minimum five years' experience in licensing, retail, ecommerce, live event merchandise, consumer marketing and business development.

2. Proven track record of business development utilizing an intellectual property licensing and brand extension model across an array of platforms, media, and retail/e-commerce outlets.

3. Experience with creation and execution of licensing strategies.

4. Must have strong retail and industry relationships.

5. Proven track record of expanding into new markets and growing revenue within established markets.

6. Strong merchandising and product orientation; has worked extensively with the retail trade to develop comprehensive and innovative programs to extend multiple brands.

7. Experience in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with superior negotiation skills and a track record of building mutually beneficial partnerships.

8. Experience working with international markets.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

10. At least 21 years of age

11. Proof of authorization to work in the United States
