Responsibilities:
Manage daily cost accounting operations, including journal entry preparation and monthly reporting.
Assist in budgeting processes, product costing, and fixed asset reviews.
Participate in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing analysis for decision-making.
Collaborate with business unit leaders to anticipate financial data needs and provide necessary analysis.
Client Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
Minimum 6+ years of experience in cost accounting or related roles, preferably in manufacturing.
Manufacturing/industrial experience, with chemical environment strongly preferred.
CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
Experience in FP&A and government contract compliance desirable.
