Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Qualify and maintain laboratory equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment
- Clean, repair, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Coordinate with service contractors on equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance
- Ensure laboratory equipment meets regulatory standards
- Track equipment repairs and routine maintenance schedules
- Train individuals on proper equipment usage
- Provide input on equipment planning and purchase
- Record tasks in accordance to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Follow applicable SOPs and procedural documents
- Review, update, or author SOPs as required
- Other tasks as assigned
Education, Experience & Skills required:
- Degree or higher with experience working on laboratory equipment; all experiences will be evaluated
- to oversee and repair laboratory equipment
- to work in a regulated environment
- to work effectively and contribute within a team
- to work with computer systems
- to document clearly
- Able to lift 50 pounds
