Job Description
Extensive experience developing and maintaining Java applications, with a deep understanding of the Java language, JVM, and related technologies - Java8/11/17, Java J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Webservices(Resful/SOAP), JSP, Java Script, JQuery, Angular, GitHub/Bit Buckets process Maven Dependency Management, Jenkins, WebSphere Liberty Rewrite tool exposure.
Hands-on experience with Java 17, including knowledge of new features, changes, and best practices introduced in this version.
Experience with Versioning/CICD process: Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar Cloud/Qube process.
Previous experience upgrading Java applications to new versions, with a proven track record of successful upgrades.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the upgrade process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the upgrade.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
