Job Description
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining Java applications, with a deep understanding of the Java language, JVM, and related technologies - Java8/11/17, Java J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring boot, Webservices(Resful/SOAP), JSP, Java Script, JQuery, Angular, GitHub/Bit Buckets process Maven Dependency Management, Jenkins, WebSphere Liberty Rewrite tool exposure.
  • Hands-on experience with Java 17, including knowledge of new features, changes, and best practices introduced in this version.
  • Experience with Versioning/CICD process: Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Sonar Cloud/Qube process.
  • Previous experience upgrading Java applications to new versions, with a proven track record of successful upgrades.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues that arise during the upgrade process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the upgrade.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
