Job Summary:
As the Executive Director, Commercial Assessment and Portfolio Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping SystImmune's commercial success. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory, and finance, to drive strategic decision-making and maximize the value of our pipeline assets. Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Forecast for Pipeline Assets:
Develop and maintain robust commercial forecasts for SystImmune's pipeline assets.
Utilize market research, competitive intelligence, and disease-specific insights to project revenue potential, patient adoption, and market share.
Collaborate with finance and business development teams to align forecasts with financial planning and investment decisions.
- Strategic Portfolio Review and Prioritization:
Act as a key contributor to the strategic portfolio review process.
Evaluate the commercial viability, market dynamics, and competitive landscape of each asset.
Provide data-driven recommendations on portfolio prioritization, resource allocation, and selection of assets for partnering initiatives.
- Commercial Plan Development for Early-Stage Assets:
Lead the development of commercialization plans for assets in early clinical development.
Define target patient populations, positioning, pricing, and market access strategies.
Work closely with clinical development teams to integrate commercial considerations into trial designs.
- Target Product Profile (TPP) and Target Opportunity Profile (TOP):
Create and refine TPPs and TOPs for pipeline assets.
Collaborate with medical affairs, regulatory, and clinical teams to align on product attributes, labeling, and differentiation.
Ensure alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of commercial insights across the organization.
Provide commercial input during transition of product development milestones (e.g., Phase 3 readouts, regulatory submissions).
- Competitive Intelligence:
Monitor competitive landscape and identify potential threats or opportunities.
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging therapies, and market dynamics.
Translate insights into actionable recommendations for SystImmune's portfolio.
Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, or equivalent) with a focus on business, marketing, or life sciences.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in biopharmaceutical commercial roles, including strategic planning, forecasting, and portfolio management.
Proven track record of successfully launching and commercializing biologic or specialty pharmaceutical products.
Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Strategic mindset and ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision.
Location:
This position requires a hybrid working model, with expectations of being in office 2-3 days a week at either the headquarters of Redmond, WA or an office in central New Jersey, which location is being determined.

The hiring pay range for this position is $260,000 - $320,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role.
