Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of the Direct and Indirect Purchasing activities and Supplier Quality Assurance functions to foster site competitiveness and ensure the quality of the purchased parts towards zero defects.
Manages Purchasing team, ensures staff availability and grow the competence in line with the company expectations
First interface in front of supplier crisis (quality, delivery, commercial)
Drives purchasing team to reach Purchasing Key Performance Indicators
Defines and implements purchasing performance in line with budget considering all the Purchasing levers
Leads the material productivities in front of the site Management team
Manages and supports the buyer's negotiations with suppliers
Validates new suppliers to be introduced in the Purchasing panel
Reduces site exposure to supplier base risk
Warrants the application and the progress of the Supplier Integration within the site (internal referential, certifications, procedures, purchasing tools)
Ensures strict follow up and compliance of supplier operational data (pricing, charge back, litigations, QCD reports)
Qualifications
Bachelors degree, highly preferred
7+ years of progressively responsible purchasing and materials control experience
At least 3+ years of experience in automotive industry
Strong leadership skills - Previous experience managing a team of direct reports
