We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team of professionals. The successful candidate will provide project leadership for Water Resources Projects, including Everglades Restoration, floodplain restorations, stormwater master planning, water quality improvement, and energy infrastructure environmental compliance. This position entails managing multi-disciplinary teams to develop design and construction documents for water resources projects, including drainage and flood risk reduction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of water resources studies, including hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and development of conceptual designs.

• Coordinate with engineers in the preparation of plans and specifications for the design of water resources facilities.

• Direct a team of staff to perform water resources calculations and drawings.

• Direct field studies, surveys, and data collection for water resources investigations.

• Review cost estimates, project schedules, and permit applications.

• Assist in the preparation of proposals.

• Manage project schedules and budgets in accordance with approved cost models.

Work Environment:

• Office: 90%

• Field: 10%

• Field sites may expose the candidate to weather conditions and varying terrain.

• Site visits or other meetings may involve long periods of time in a motor vehicle.

• Some occasional evening and/or weekend work is expected.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or other applicable field of study.

• Master of Science degree preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a project manager in the Water Resources field.

• Must be willing to work on a dynamic team where roles and tasks may rotate or change daily.

• Exceptional attention to detail for accurate and thorough data collection.

• Ability to balance multiple tasks throughout the day.

• Willingness to travel and work at remote sites as needed.

• Excellent driving record within company standards.

• Ability to pass background screening requirements, including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.

• Local candidates preferred; no relocation allowance provided.

• A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
