We will count on you to:



  • Proactively review emails, prioritize by level of urgency, and coordinate with other departments as needed (Risk Practices, Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations)


  • Learn and understand the Business Development Executive's priorities in order to proactive manage their calendar, scheduling work blocks for projects or focused work, calls, video conference meetings, in-person, and on-site/off-site meetings with clients, prospects, centers of influence, and colleagues


  • Compose, check, edit, and send emails to clients and prospects on behalf of Business Development Executive


  • Answer, handle, and screen telephone calls from clients, c-suite executives, and employees


  • Arrange and coordinate complex and frequently changing domestic and international travel arrangements and logistics, including international visa and immigration matters


  • Prepare logistics and materials needed for conference meetings, events, and travel in advance of trips; this includes being able to receive a list of priorities and individuals to contact and independently creating and confirming an agenda


  • Master the functions, norms, and operation of our Client Relationship Management (CRM) system


  • Make daily accurate updates to the records of Business Development Executive's clients and prospects in the CRM system


  • Run weekly reviews with the Business Development Executive on their funnel (the prospects listed in the CRM system), recording and executing the agreed follow-up actions to advance each opportunity


  • Proactively research and summarize key industry trends, news, and information to assist Business Development Executive in providing value to clients and prospects; effectively coordinating with Marsh's Industry Practices and the India Knowledge Services team as needed


  • Edit and/or proofread executive level documents, reports, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel correspondence while ensuring all documents produced adhere to Marsh's global identity, and document standards and templates


  • Manage sensitive, highly confidential, and proprietary information with discretion and the utmost level of confidentiality at all times


  • Coordinate projects as needed, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments with minimal supervision and direction


  • Organize and file information in joint electronic filing system (MS Teams)


  • Process, coordinate, and file expense reports in a timely manner


  • Identify and take proactive approach to assigned tasks


  • Resolve administrative problems by analyzing information, identifying, and communicating solutions





What you need to have:



  • 5 years of experience in an executive administrative / project management capacity supporting senior or global leaders for a large corporate or consulting company


  • Ability to juggle significant travel arrangements and take action to plan accordingly once preferences are known without direction; an energetic member of the team


  • Flexibility to be online to address unexpected disruptions to travel and make alternative arrangements as needed (including weekends and holidays if needed)


  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled


  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills


  • Confidence in working with senior external and internal contacts


  • Strong organizational skills, which are adaptable to changing priorities


  • Ability to add structure where needed


  • Ability to juggle many tasks at once and follow up on outstanding items


  • A proactive mindset with self-directed decision making in respects to planning (setting up visitor passes, locations for meetings without direction, etc.)


  • A detail oriented mindset that produces highly accurate work products and timely completion of commitments


  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills, and working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
