Ecore is looking for a Procurement Systems Analyst to conducting in-depth analysis of procurement activities, supplier performance, market trends, and other relevant data to inform strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a passion for driving insights that enable proactive procurement strategies. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping our procurement roadmap and maximizing value for the company.
Core Contributions:
Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to analyze procurement data, including spend analysis, supplier performance metrics, market trends, and cost drivers, to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
Procurement Performance Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track procurement performance, measure savings, monitor compliance, and identify areas for improvement.
Market Intelligence: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, pricing dynamics, and emerging technologies, providing actionable insights to support strategic sourcing decisions.
Supplier Evaluation and Risk Assessment: Evaluate supplier performance and assess risks associated with the supply chain, including financial stability, quality issues, geopolitical factors, and other external influences, to mitigate risks and ensure supplier reliability.
Procurement Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to optimize procurement processes and enhance operational effectiveness.
Strategic Sourcing Support: Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management, to drive cost savings, mitigate risks, and improve supplier relationships.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and innovation within the procurement function, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including procurement, finance, operations, and other departments, to understand business requirements, gather data insights, and collaborate on strategic initiatives that support organizational goals.
S&OP & S&IOP: Lead and develop metrics for the S&OP process to ensure that production, sales, operations and supply chain are aligned on business needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
Essential Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred
Proven experience in procurement analysis, data analytics, or related roles, preferably in a large and complex organization
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SAP, Epicor) with the ability to manipulate and visualize large datasets
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
Solid understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing methodologies, and contract management principles
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making
Certification in data analytics, procurement, or related fields is a plus
