Client Services Manager II Opportunity Overview

As a Client Services Manager II with Banner Bank you are the face of Banner Bank that provides an excellent experience for our clients.  Primary responsibilities include, acting as a leader in sales, operations, and client service.  This position leads the day to day operations of the branch, supervises, trains and coaches branch staff in operations.  You may be asked to act in full management capacity in the absence of a Branch Manager and will manage the day to day supervision of the teller staff including hiring and evaluating direct reports.

 As a Client Services Manager II with Banner Bank you will have the opportunity to:

  • Oversee the processing of a variety of routine financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments

  • Effectively assist clients in achieving their financial goals by presenting tailored solutions that meet the client’s specific financial needs

  • Answer questions and resolve technical problems on client accounts and refer clients to other lines of business as appropriate  

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of all operational processes, requirements and meets compliance standards

  • Assist with and ensures all operational tasks are completed on time

  • Adhere to policy and procedures to minimize risk and achieves satisfactory internal audit results

  • Comply with, and ensuring staff follows, policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations

Travel: Overnight travel as required


Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z


  • 3+ year’s previous retail banking experience

  • 3+ year’s previous leadership or supervisory experience

Preferred Skills

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Extensive knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all complex accounts, consumer and QuickStep lending

  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services

  • Proven client service, interpersonal and relationship building skills

  • Effective selling, cross selling and referral skills

  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negation skills
