About this role:

The Sr. Information Security Analyst assists in responding to UPS customer inquiries and audits of UPS's security program. Following the contract review, the Sr. Analyst will respond to customer audits facilitated by electronic survey's, questionnaire assessments, interviews and security reviews which include:

  • Working with customer key points of contact, establishing a communications channel
  • Conducting timely audit response overview meetings and scheduling audit reviews
  • Managing audit time line for questionnaires, interviews, providing evidence verification, and participating in on-site audit reviews
  • Contributing to the development of the information security requirements of customer contracts to assure UPS's customer assets are protected, and all terms follow UPS standards and compliance obligations
  • Assuring all UPS controls meet standards for confidentiality, integrity, availability and defense in depth security principles
  • Quickly and effectively demonstrating information safeguards
  • Participating in conference calls with the customer’s security team to help negotiate security requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 3 years of Assessments, Compliance and Audits experience
  • Must have at least 1 year experience working with customer assurance in Information Security
  • Experience gathering information from a range of different sources, developing and creating search queries
  • Automating searches and querying, tuning large data sets.
  • Experience in using Shared Assessments Program Tools and/or questionnaire based vendor auditing tools
  • Experience using GRC/IRM tools and technologies for audit support and vendor governance management
  • Advanced experience with Auditing Controls, I.T. Auditing fundamentals, Cybersecurity Analysis and  Documentation
  • Must have excellent organization skills, be able to work alone or in a collaborative fashion and be a self-motivated learner, effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Auditing or equivalent
  • CISA, CRISC, CISM, or CISSP certifications preferred
