Responsible for providing technical pre-sales support to targeted customers. Provide technical assistance or product development, interacting with technical teams which may include application requirements, bid spec reviews, compliance documentation and competitive cross-reference inputs. Provide technical guidance or clarification to sales teams on how to best position information for effective selling. Interface with technical teams, sales teams and the company's Inside Sales support teams.
Provide a single point of contact and technical pre-sales support between company and customers.
Collaborate and communicate closely with company's field sales team supporting the same opportunity. Review and/or generate the optimized company solution to resolve a specific opportunity set of requirements.
Provide technical expertise to other sales employees to increase sales revenue.
Assist in technical sales positioning on proposals considering specifications, competition, winning criteria (e.g. price or performance or efficiency or footprint).

BA or BS or equivalent experience
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or other technical degree.
Associates degree or Military certification with directly related work experience may also be held as equivalent.
3-5 years of experience
Minimum of three years relevant customer service technical experience
