Title: HR Senior Business Partner – Global Supply Chain People Transformation Lead

Location: Major Mars Hub: North America or Europe

Reports To: VP HR Corporate


We are building tomorrow’s Supply chain, integrating new capabilities and timeless supply fundamentals across Mars Incorporated.  Our supply strategy focuses on transforming our end-to-end supply chain (supply chain, plant network, assets, and supply excellence), supported by critical foundations (safety, quality and food safety, systems and data) and enabled by our great Associates, in the heart of everything we do


Having the right talent and capabilities across our organization is fundamental to our transformations. The Mars supply Leadership team, supported by the MLT, have prioritized investment in this critical transformation and we now need the right HR leader to drive the talent and capability elements of this transformation.  


What We Need:

We have an opportunity for a senior Business Partner to partner with our Global Supply leaders to develop global talent and capability initiatives supporting the Supply transformation. This is an 18 month assignment reporting to the VP Corporate HR. The role will work closely with the Supply VP Mars & Petcare and the MSLT)


Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:

The role focuses on co-piloting and support for the Mars Inc Supply People transformation agenda, including the following: 

  • Capabilities programs associated with our supply chain transformation (MSE SC, Mega, Polaris)

    • Top 200 SC talent step change (capabilities, career pathing, and OD, 6B strategies)

    • D-Com & digital capabilities

    • Cost to serve / logistics expertise

    • Enterprise customer centricity expertise

  • Drive the “Diversity for Tomorrow’s supply chain” shift (passport and gender diversity)

  • Oversee and coordinate NA Supply HR X segment to drive talent pipeline transformation as an enabler of Mars US reset, in partnership with the NA Supply business partners.

  • Mars Supply Excellence deployment (Manuf and SC) capabilities and OD

  • HR business partner for the MSLT (e.g corporate functional MDR-TDRs), and for Global Petcare Supply LT


The role will have a strong partnership with Pet Nutrition Global HR VP and Mars Wrigley Global HR VP to ensure strong segment HR connectivity.   


The role provides excellent development for HR associates to accelerate their career by gaining broad perspective, collaboration and influence with senior stakeholders, strategic and organizational agility.



  • 3-5 years Talent Management experience, including partnership to senior management

  • 3-5 years Business Partnering experience, including strong experience managing complex Organizational Development and change initiatives

  • HT or prior business experience with Supply Chain is highly preferred

  • Experience working in a multi-country enviornment & successfully partnering with Sr. leaders/organizations across cultures is preferred


Desired Education

  • Bachelor's degree and/or the equivalent combination of education and work experience is required, advanced degree preferred; OD/HR training/certification a plus



  • Associates must be able to travel up to 30%

  • Also, given the global nature of the role, it may ofter require flexibility in working hours to accomodate the business partners who are largely based in North America and Europe
