Performs activities such as lifting, transporting, storing, loading, and delivery of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and products. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES+ Warehouse activities such as receiving, shipping, repacking of chemical, equipment, reagents, Inventory management+ Forecasts required inventory to meet customer demand+ Prepares and delivers product to customer+ Assemble and prepare test kits and reagents+ Processes paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments+ Ensures DOT compliance for shipments+ Will be the primary back up driver for both the San Diego and La routes+ Will be support for the service team when neededSUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES+ Assists with the delivery of products to customer via drop off, pump in, or pour in+ Maintains warehouse/storage area in a clean and orderly condition+ Coordinates vehicle maintenance and CHP/DMV compliance+ Identification and proper handling of hazardous waste.+ Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS + Danaher Business Systems (DBS), ISO 9008/2000; ISO 14001; HAZWOPER; 29 CFR OSHA: 49 CFR DOT+ Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.+ Ability to effectively present information and prepare reports as needed.+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.+ Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.+ Technical, Analytical skills, and business knowledge+ Communication and Interpersonal skills; Teamwork and leadership+ Organizational skills; Self-managementEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE+ High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)+ 1 year minimum CDL experience (Class B, Hazmat Endorsement minimum)+ Hazardous materials handling and delivery experience+ Experience in inventory management.+ Working knowledge of DOT regulations. + Current, clean California driving record.
