RESPONSIBILITIES

What do our Innovation Services Managers do*

This role requires a candidate to identify new trends and solutions, partner with suppliers and/or internal R&D to test and bring new or enhancements to market. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work through ambiguity, demonstrating good judgment under pressure and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

* Gain a deep understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and client experiences.

* Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product functional gaps and generate new ideas to grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.

* Design, scope and prioritize requirements based on business and client impact.

* Develop product strategy and road-map by analyzing product performance, identifying and filling product gaps and generating new ideas that grow market share, improve client experience and drive growth.

* Identify new trends and solutions, partner with suppliers and/or internal R&D to test and bring new or enhancements to market

* Define messaging and value propositions and be accountable for the overall go-to-market plan, including the revenue forecasts, adoption goals, pricing, annual pricing strategy, and service strategy.

* Generate product buy-in with key stakeholders.

* Translate product strategy into product requirements and prototypes.

* Represent the company by visiting and meeting with clients to solicit feedback on products and services.

* Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations to develop product pricing, positioning, and promotional plans that are aligned with product strategy.

* Enable business development and sales teams, lead calls with key customers, create tools to support the success, and help to identify opportunities to increase that success to drive sales.

* Identify target market segments, segment sizing and ideal customer targets, and design forward-thinking positioning approaches for company products and services.

* Define messaging and value propositions and be accountable for the overall go-to-market plan, including the revenue forecasts, adoption goals, pricing, annual pricing strategy, and service strategy.

* Drive product launches with other key internal and external stakeholders.

* Achieve annual sales targets for each Life of Business (LOB).

* Provide cross-functional project management oversight for product development initiatives, including pilot projects, product enhancements, and new product development.

* Develop a clear product launch and commercialization process and methodology to ensure success at all levels; internally and externally.

* Other duties as assigned.

What do you need*

* 4+ years of product management experience, preferably within a services industry.

* Experience soliciting user and industry feedback: interviewing customers and non-customers, leading focus groups for product design/development.

* Experience with business cases, analytics and reporting, market trends/analysis, competition analysis, positioning, business modeling, and product road-map development.

* Communication is critical; be able to tell your story effectively.

* Experience with customer/client management, and managing the tension between customers' wants and needs.

* Proven ability to develop product strategies, including managing all aspects of a successful product through its life-cycle.

* Proven problem solving ability, preferably within a customer environment.

* Proven project management, time management and organizational skills and the ability to quickly adapt to multiple priorities.

* Proven ability to work at all levels of the organization; get used to player/coaches and servant leadership that drives for success.

* Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test

* Must possess a valid driver's license and pass motor vehicle record search
