The Johns Hopkins Hospital The Supplemental Staffing Unit (SSU) is piloting a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA) assignment project to be able to fulfill internal sitter requests. There is a need to hire internal positions as we begin to build the PSA pool. This will allow a robust and flexible workforce to be hired and deployed as sitters to meet unfilled demands.
Shifts: 8 and 12 hour rotating shifts; weekend work required
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Completion of a certified training course for Nursing Assistants required
* Active Maryland Nursing Assistant Certification is required
* Active and valid CPR certification required upon hire
* Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of experience
