Our St. Francis hospital is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for our Inpatient Rehab Unit. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills where you will be responsible for:

Performs speech and language evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Speech - Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and the speech and language pathology practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes speech and language pathology services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
-Graduation from an accredited SLP program

-Licensed or eligible for licensure as a speech language pathologist. Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire date.

-Broad knowledge of growth & development principles. Analytical skills to gather/interpret data relevant to patient care. Abiliity to prioritize and complete work in timely manner.
