Our 200 bed facility is a Level III trauma center, the only trauma center in Northern New Mexico, and serves a seven county area with over 300,000 residents. The CHRISTUS St. Vincent Orthopedic Specialty Clinic offers joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, trauma/fractures, and general orthopaedic treatment for the arm, elbow, foot, ankle, hand, wrist, hip, knee and shoulder. The team consists of eight physicians and two APC's. We are seeking a fulltime Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Trauma emphasis to join the team. This position offers the opportunity to blend an outpatient/total joints practice with inpatient ortho trauma work. Applicants interested in only ortho trauma or a solely outpatient/total joint practice are encouraged to apply as well.
Requirements
Applicants must be a Medical School graduate with a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy degree, with appropriate residency and fellowship training. Requirements - active, unrestricted NM medical license or ability to obtain one as well as board certification or eligibility (within 5 years of graduation) with at least 2 years' experience is preferred.
